Admiring cars isn’t just about seeing what’s outside, but its inner beauty is just as important. Sure, some cars are as ugly as can be while packing some serious heat. 1. Duesenberg Model J (1928)
There is a longstanding rumor that the phrase “it’s a doozy” comes from the Duesenberg brand. They were known for being some of the most powerful vehicles on the road, and a “doozy” referred to any car that was hard to overtake. The Model J was considered to be the most perfect Duesenberg vehicle with an exterior that matched the pure power lurking beneath the hood. The Duesenberg line has long since been defunct, but their cars can still cost a pretty penny (several millions of pretty pennies, actually).
2. Jaguar E-Type Series Coupé (1961)
The 1960s saw a surge in Jaguar car popularity, and the E-Type Series 1 had a lot to do with this. In a Sports Car issues of that decade, this coupé was named the most beautiful car. It was known for having a sleek body, a high-powered engine, and perceived as being fit for James Bond.
3. BAC Mono (2011)
The single-seater BAC Mono isn’t what you’d normally call “pretty,” but it has a huge gathering of fans among car aficionados, especially among sci-fi fans. 5. Mercedes-Benz 300SL (1954)

This car mainly found a fan base from absolutely killing it in rallies. Rumor has it that Lancia is looking to bring the Zero back, albeit with less wedginess.
20. Dome Zero (1978)
The Dome Zero was an almost-perfect replica of the Stratus Zero. As you can see, it maintains the wedginess that the Stratus that fans yearned. And just like the Lancia, the Dome Zero never saw the light of day, mainly due to failing Japanese street standards. What a shame…
21. Cord 812 (1937)
Cord was a popular car brand that released several stylish models between the 20s and 40s. In its early years, the company was struggling to release a car model that stood out, but the 812 changed all of that in 1937. Its classic “coffin-nose” design was appealing to consumers throughout the US, and even today, it’s remembered as a wonderful piece of American engineering.
22. Auburn Speedster (1934)
Auburn was an Indiana-based car manufacturing brand that also reached its peak of fame in the 1930s. The Speedster was considered the most beautiful car of its time, and we can definitely agree with this opinion. Today, vintage Speedsters still turn heads at car shows.
